How To Apply
- Open the official application portal, exams.nta.nic.in/allhcre, or use the recruitment link from allahabadhighcourt.in.
- Register online with your own email ID and mobile number, then note the generated registration/application number.
- Fill the online application form with personal details, qualification, category, domicile, and other required information.
- Upload the required scanned documents including photograph, signature, left thumb impression, applicable category certificate, and Class X certificate.
- Pay the prescribed fee online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI before 22 June 2026, 11:50 PM.
- Download and keep the confirmation page, fee proof, and uploaded photograph copies for future reference.
- Use the online correction window from 24 June 2026 to 25 June 2026 only for permitted corrections.
Photo And Signature Requirements
- Photograph must be a recent clear colour passport photo captured after release of the detailed advertisement.
- The applicant's name and date of capturing the photograph must be printed on the photograph.
- Photo file must be JPG/JPEG and between 10 KB and 200 KB.
- Signature file must be JPG/JPEG and between 10 KB and 100 KB; full signature in running handwriting is required.
- Left thumb impression file must be between 10 KB and 200 KB.
- Applicable category certificate and Class X certificate files must be between 50 KB and 300 KB.
Exam Day Requirements
- Admit card date, exam date, time, venue, and test instructions will be announced later through public notice and uploaded on the official websites.
- Stage-I will be held in pen and paper OMR mode.
- Stage-II and Stage-III for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on the same day in a single shift with a 20-minute gap.
- Candidates must appear in and qualify all required stages; no stage exemption is provided.
- Biometric information, including photograph, thumb impression, and iris, will be captured at the examination centre.
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pagers, and other communication devices are not allowed inside the examination premises.
Eligibility And Selection
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification; plus Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, or NIELIT/DOEACC O Level, or CCC certificate in Computer Science; plus knowledge of data entry, word processing, and computer operation; plus minimum English typing speed of 25 words per minute on computer.
- Stage-I Preliminary Examination in General Studies, OMR based.
- Stage-II Mains Examination, subjective/conventional type in pen and paper mode.
- Stage-III Computer Knowledge Test in CBT mode, including English typing text reproduction.
- Shortlisting for Stage-II and Stage-III is seven times the vacancies in each category for each post based on Stage-I marks.
- Final merit is prepared separately for Review Officer, Assistant Review Officer, and Computer Assistant using aggregate marks of Stage-II and Stage-III.
- No interview will be held.
Exam Pattern
- Stage-I Preliminary: 200 MCQs for 200 marks, 3 hours, OMR based, no negative marking, and no minimum qualifying marks.
- Stage-I subjects include General Science, History of India, Indian National Movement, Indian Polity/Economy/Culture, Indian Agriculture/Commerce/Trade, Population/Ecology/Urbanisation, Geography, Current Events, General Aptitude, Uttar Pradesh knowledge, General English and Hindi at graduation level, and Elementary Computer Knowledge.
- Stage-II Mains: subjective/conventional paper for 150 marks, 2 hours, with minimum qualifying marks of 50 out of 150.
- Stage-II sections include English essay, English precis, English-Hindi and Hindi-English translation, and English comprehension.
- Stage-III Computer Knowledge Test: 50 marks, 20 minutes, CBT mode, no negative marking, with minimum qualifying marks of 25 out of 50.
- Stage-III gives an English text of about 500 words to reproduce on computer in the same format.
- Final merit uses aggregate marks from Stage-II and Stage-III only.
