Eligibility And Selection

Qualification: Post Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sociology, or Music, along with B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. with two-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture are required. RCI registration before the recruitment examination is mandatory as per the notice.

Exam Pattern

  • The competitive examination will carry 450 marks.
  • There will be two papers: Paper I for 150 marks and Paper II for 300 marks.
  • Paper I duration is 1 hour 30 minutes and Paper II duration is 3 hours.
  • All questions in both papers will be multiple choice type.
  • Minimum qualifying marks for each paper are 40%, relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates as per the advertisement.
  • Negative marking applies: one-third of the marks prescribed for a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
