Staff Selection Commission has issued the official Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026 notice for Group B and Group C posts with approx. 12,256 tentative vacancies. Online applications are open from 21 May 2026 to 22 June 2026.

Student Requirements
- Confirm Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 eligibility from the official Staff Selection Commission notice before submitting the form.
- Check the qualification rule, required subject, certificate, and cut-off date mentioned for the post.
- Verify age limit, relaxation, and the date used for age calculation before fee payment.
- Pay only through the official application portal and keep the payment receipt or transaction proof.
- Complete the form before 22 Jun 2026 because late applications are normally not accepted.

How To Apply
Eligibility And Selection
Qualification: For most posts, candidates need a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Final-year graduation candidates may apply, but must possess the required qualification as on 01 August 2026. JSO and Statistical Investigator posts have specific Statistics/Mathematics requirements.
- Tier-I Computer Based Examination.
- Tier-II Computer Based Examination.
- Paper-I of Tier-II is compulsory for all posts.
- Paper-II of Tier-II is only for shortlisted candidates applying for Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II posts.
- Paper-III of Tier-II is only for shortlisted candidates for Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer posts.
- Computer Knowledge Test and Data Entry Speed Test are part of Tier-II Paper-I and are qualifying in nature, as per the notice.
- Final allotment is based on merit-cum-preference and fulfillment of post-specific eligibility, physical, medical, and document requirements.
Exam Pattern
- Tier-I: 100 questions, 200 marks, 1 hour. Subjects: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each subject has 25 questions and 50 marks.
- Tier-I negative marking: 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
- Tier-II Paper-I Session-I: Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge Test.
- Tier-II Paper-I Session-II: Data Entry Speed Test for 15 minutes.
- Tier-II Paper-II: Statistics, only for eligible shortlisted candidates for JSO / Statistical Investigator Grade-II posts.
- Tier-II Paper-III: General Studies Finance and Economics, only for eligible shortlisted candidates for AAO / Assistant Accounts Officer posts.
- Tier-II negative marking: 1 mark for wrong answers in Section-I, Section-II, and Section-III of Paper-I; 0.50 marks for wrong answers in Paper-II and Paper-III.
Important Messages For Students
- Applications are accepted only online. SSC has not provided an offline application mode.
- Candidates must submit the application by 22 June 2026, 23:00 hours. Fee payment for non-exempt candidates must be completed by 23 June 2026, 23:00 hours.
- Applications can remain incomplete and be rejected if SSC does not receive the required fee.
- The correction window is 29 June 2026 to 01 July 2026, 23:00 hours. Correction is allowed only for completed applications received within the specified period.
- Correction charge is Rs. 200 for the first correction and Rs. 500 for the second correction. The charge applies to all candidates irrespective of gender/category and is non-refundable.
- No correction is allowed after the correction window closes.
- Exam months are tentative. SSC will communicate changes only through the official SSC website.
- Candidates must check post-specific physical, medical, educational, and preference requirements before choosing posts.
